Sherif joined Vistra in November 2020 and currently handles roles of MLRO and Compliance Officer with regulated firms. In his role, he ensures the implementation of all relevant DFSA regulations in respect of AML and Compliance, along with applicable requirements for other functional segments in the firm.
Sherif has over 15 years of experience in MLRO, Compliance and Governance practices.
Prior to joining Vistra, Sherif had worked in several well-known and reputed multi-national and regional financial institutions in the Middle East region, handling MLRO and Compliance functions.
Sherif holds a Bachelors of Commerce & Business Administration along with various certificates in IIA, ACAMS, CFCS, DFSA Rules and Regulations, Global Financial Compliance and United Arab Emirates Financial Rules & Regulations.
His native language is Arabic, and he also speaks fluent English
