Previously Group CTO for Tricor, Tim is our Chief Technology Officer, joining Vistra in October 2023, following the merger of our two firms.  

Tim is responsible for the development, delivery and production of the core operating technology estate of the business - ensuring innovation and infrastructure are aligned to deliver momentum and clarity for our clients.

Tim’s diverse areas of expertise include internet business innovation, product management, business development and R&D management. For nearly two decades, he has developed digital products and technologies with technology leaders including Tencent, Microsoft and Yahoo. A forward-thinking mover and shaker, Tim created China’s biggest smart TV video service from the ground up, oversaw Microsoft’s Bing News search service, and directed marketplace and community platforms at Yahoo at a time when social media was in its infancy.

Tim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and received a custom EMBA certificate from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
