Associate, Business Systems Support


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance the functionality and usability of key business applications to include systems used for time recording and billing, accounting, client administration, document management and workflow (for example Client Portal,  SAP, Viewpoint, Millogic, iManage, Bank Clarity)
  • Responsible for the promotion and effective use of these applications within the Vistra group, to include the implementation, training, upgrading and ongoing support, ensuring smooth and efficient running by knowledgeable staff
  • Assist internal users with common queries on new applications and systems usage via email or phone
  • Extract data from MS SQL databases
  • Regular report changes or improvement requests from users internally on new applications and systems
  • Work closely with the Group Business Application manager to implement systems strategy across the group
  • Work closely with business analysts and project managers to co-ordinate work on key applications, ensuring change management control and clear communication to all parties involved
  • Work with the business to produce detailed specifications for the production of MI reports
  • Uphold Vistra’s values by promoting a culture of professionalism and teamwork
  • Have a clear understanding of Vistra’s overall vision and direction
  • Handle any ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in application support role
  • Accounting knowledge or administration knowledge beneficial, preferably experience in financial MI/BI
  • Previous project coordination experience is highly advantageous
  • Enthusiastic and high professional integrity
  • Key player in contributing to the teams’ success
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with the business, to identify and implement efficiencies
  • SQL
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint system is highly advantageous
  • Professional fluency in written and oral English is mandatory
  • A good command of Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) proficiency is highly advantageous
