Vistra receives regulatory approval to expand into India’s new financial and IT hub – GIFT City

Vistra announces that it is one of the first few global organisations to receive regulatory approval to set up operations in India’s new Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) – a global financial and IT hub, a first of its kind in India.

Vistra will expand it’s India business into GIFT City, which provides a business platform and creates an ecosystem to enable commerce, while also providing world class infrastructure for the integrated city which also includes residential and social developments. This hub is being designed to not only align to exacting standards, but to exceed global benchmarks for similar jurisdictions around the globe. It will allow India to establish itself as a global leader and stay competitive with other global financial jurisdictions.

This announcement demonstrates that Vistra India has ambitious plans to capitalise on the remarkable growth it has experienced over the years, even despite the challenges the pandemic has posed. With approximately 1,000 professionals based in India, this team services 150+ global clients and manages payrolls for over 160 global employers. There is a world of opportunities for both clients and colleagues at Vistra India.
