In October 2017, Vistra Hong Kong took part in the Hong Kong Cleanup Challenge, an annual event where volunteers are tasked with cleaning up the environment.

Hong Kong Cleanup aims to empower citizens to become active agents in keeping coastals, parks, and streets safe, clean, and trash free. The activity also raises awareness about littering and pollution in our society, and instill understanding that communities are crucial in changing attitudes towards environmental protection. The Hong Kong Cleanup is the official coordinator of the global cleanup movement on behalf of Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup, and Let’s Do It! World Cleanup, which is sanctioned by UNEP.

Vistra Hong Kong had over 60 staff plus family members volunteer at the event, cleaning the shoreline of the main Shek O Beach where they collected over 30 bags of trash.
