Vistra Guernsey recently sponsored and hosted the latest Women’s Business Network event which was held on 22 June.
Established in 2016, the Women’s Business Network is an informal network for women in senior positions in financial services in Guernsey, whether working for a large corporate organisation or owner/managers of much smaller businesses. There are no fees or membership forms to join and the network welcomes members from other jurisdictions who regularly do business in Guernsey.
The idea of the network is to provide a forum where those attending have a means to meet other professionals outside their usual areas of activity to make connections and build relationships in an informal and friendly environment.
Events currently run quarterly and Vistra has been involved since the network was established as Patricia White, Managing Director at Vistra Guernsey, is a founding member of the network. At each event, a speaker presents on a current topic and members have the chance to ask questions afterwards.
As part of the Group’s wider CSR initiatives, Vistra Guernsey hopes that its involvement in this network will showcase the company as a thought leader, whilst contributing to developing knowledge and expertise within the industry.
