Eric specialises in working with clients in support of their global finance, human resources, and compliance requirements, and manages a large portfolio of clients, many in the tech sector. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he reports to Kathryn Polak, Vice President, Global Client Services, Vistra.

Stephen is responsible for the sales and commercial strategy development of Vistra in Canada, with the goal of enhancing service offerings to both new and existing clients in Canada. Based in Toronto, he reports to Ed Novak, Managing Director, Sales and Client Service, Vistra Americas.

Commenting on both appointments, Ed said, “Client service excellence has always been at the heart of Vistra. Eric and Stephen have long experience in the global corporate services industry, and their knowledge of how to operate efficiently and compliantly across borders will be a real asset for our North American clients and prospects.”

Eric has worked in the corporate services consulting industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Vistra, he held senior roles at TriNet, Globalization Partners, Radius (now part of Vistra) and High Street Partners. He has helped numerous small and medium enterprises expand and operate globally.

Stephen has almost 30 years of experience in new business development and corporate finance in the North American leveraged debt and asset-based lending industry. Prior to joining Vistra, he was the Principal at SBS Structured Solutions, where he provided insight and consulting services for emerging platforms. He has also held senior roles at Scotiabank, PNC Bank Canada Branch, Roynat Capital and GE Corporate Financial Services, and was the past President and Chair of the Toronto Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Scott Kraemer, Managing Director, Alternative Investments, Americas, said, “The appointments demonstrate Vistra’s commitment to effectively serving our North American clients and to growing our footprint here. Few organisations in the region can match the breadth of our services, from managing alternative investment funds through their lifecycles to providing all the advice and services a company needs to expand and operate abroad.”

Following the integration of Radius this year, Vistra is now the number one provider of international expansion services in the US. Vistra’s Canadian operations, meanwhile, have grown significantly, with US dollar value of committed capital for funds administered increasing by more than 66% and number of clients more than tripling since entering the market in 2018.
