Hong Kong, 14 March 2022 – Vistra, a leading provider of expert advisory and administrative support to Fund, Corporate, Capital Market and Private Wealth clients, announced today that it has become a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact and United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (‘PRI’). This reflects Vistra’s commitment to doing the right thing, building a sustainable future; and investing responsibly.

The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative calling on companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals.

The PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. The PRI is truly independent and supports responsible investors to create sustainable markets that contribute to a more prosperous world for all.

Justin Damer, Chief Strategy, Services and Sustainability Officer at Vistra says, “We fully endorse the UN Global Compact and PRI’s missions and are thrilled to have taken the important step in committing to the principals and agenda as described by UN Global Compact and UN PRI.

Around the world, investors and the businesses in which they invest need support in adapting themselves to succeed as new and evolving ESG regulation is rolled out. We are here to help them.  And, in keeping true to our Vistra value of Doing the Right Thing, I am pleased to share our five sustainability commitments reflecting some of the steps we are taking to do our bit as a responsible business.”
