Vistra, one of the world’s leading Fund and Corporate Service providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Roden as Country Managing Director for Vistra Luxembourg.

In this role, Frank will have full responsibility for the leadership and strategic development of Vistra Luxembourg. Luxembourg is one of the largest and business-critical markets for Vistra, showing double-digit growth over several years and playing a key part in its global fund solutions.

Frank joins Vistra from BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he held the position of EMEA Head of Asset Managers and Asset Owners. A chartered accountant by background, Frank joined BNPP in 2002 and held a number of global and regional roles in which he led both business lines and large operations teams. Initially based in Ireland, Frank transferred to Luxembourg in 2006 for four years where he had oversight of the product teams and depositary services. In 2010, he moved to Jersey to lead the Channel Islands and Isle of Man region, successfully launching a private capital administration business during his six year tenure.  In 2016, Frank relocated to London, running the asset and fund servicing business for BNPP in the UK, before subsequently taking up his EMEA role and returning to Luxembourg in 2020.

Steven van Tuijl, Regional Managing Director EMEA states “We are delighted to welcome Frank as Managing Director for Vistra Luxembourg. He joins at a pivotal time as we finalise integration plans with Tricor, ahead of our operational launch as a combined business in 2024. I look forward to working closely together with Frank to further expand and continuously improve Vistra’s business in Luxembourg.”

Frank added, “I am excited to be joining Vistra at this milestone moment in its growth journey. I look forward to adding value to Vistra clients and colleagues through my extensive experience in asset and fund servicing. I am excited to start working with our teams to help our clients achieve their business goals, while supporting my new colleagues in reaching their professional growth and development aspirations.”

Frank will replace Jervis Smith, who has been instrumental in shaping and growing the Vistra Luxembourg business over the past four years. Jervis will stay in Luxembourg until June to ensure a smooth transition to Frank and will then return to the UK where he will continue to advise and provide his expertise to Vistra.
