Vistra Jersey recently assisted with the £2.6m donation by the Seroussi Foundation towards OnSide Youth Zones. This was orchestrated in partnership with the UBS Optimus Foundation increasing the pledge to OnSide by £260k to £2.86m through match funding. OnSide introduce and operate Youth Zones in towns and cities across the UK, with the aim of giving young people in deprived areas a safe and inspiring place to go in their leisure time.

With 10 Youth Zones established across the OnSide Youth Zone network, the spaces collectively attract over 38,000 young people and over 500,000 visits a year, creating a positive impact on young people living in areas of deprivation. With a proven model and experience of implementation, OnSide have an aim to replicate the model and have identified 100 locations across the UK where Youth Zones will have the greatest impact on young people and their communities.

Vistra have been long time partners of the Seroussi Foundation, established by Edouard Seroussi a successful businessman and entrepreneur, and are extremely proud of the work done with them. In the last couple of years alone, they have assisted in $1.75m of donations to benefit vulnerable children around the world, in partnership with the UBS Optimus Foundation. Vistra have also assisted with a $250,000 donation from the Seroussi Foundation towards Smiling Gecko’s work to educate children in the most deprived areas of Cambodia.

The donation of £2.6m made by the Seroussi Foundation will support the creation of four London OnSide Youth Zones being developed in Barking, Barnet, Croydon and Haringey, which are due to open from 2019 onwards.
