The Hong Kong Limited Partnership Fund (LPF) Bill, passed on the 9th July, will become law on 31 August 2020.

The new Ordinance enables funds to be registered in the form of limited partnerships in Hong Kong. This initiative will further promote Hong Kong's private equity market and strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international financial centre
