The time for transformation is now

We are living in an era of mass technological disruption. The fourth industrial revolution, as this is sometimes known, sees entire industries transformed through connectivity, advanced automation and artificial intelligence. Our industry is now among them, with Vistra as first-mover.

The new Vistra Global Expansion Platform (GEP) for entity management, and our AI compliance advisor Geni, represent one of the first examples of true technological disruption in the corporate services industry. We are layering a tech platform across our mature solutions proposition, to simplify access to the service platform our company pioneered.

GEP and Geni’s creation comes at a time when increasing regulatory complexity converges with rapid technological advancement. While corporate services as an industry may have been slow in the past to embrace high-tech tools, it is in fact an ideal use case for advanced digitalization and automation. Compliance, after all, means actioning a series of processes that adhere to a system of rules, albeit a complex and ever-changing one. That’s the kind of problem AI is especially well-suited to address.

Our clients are tech-savvy and welcome this usability. Our team members are tech-savvy and can now be even more effective. Finally, the tech in our industry is catching up with people’s expectations and aspirations for smoother and more efficient ways of working.

Pioneering industry progress—again

This is the second time we have disrupted this industry through our innovative approach.

Our first wave was to take what had been a localised, highly fragmented operation model and transform it into a more globalised model, far more standardised in the way that we operate and the way that we think across a team of globally connected professionals—providing clients with both a global perspective and on-ground local expertise that enables their business to operate without friction, all over the world.

This next wave of disruption sees us offering seamless access to our services from a centralised platform, navigated with help from the world’s first global compliance AI advisor. It means clients can let our services run in the background, monitoring entities and compliance and receiving alerts when key actions need to be taken. Or they can work in-depth with our teams as needed or desired.

For example, if you wanted to monitor or make changes to your various global entities on a Sunday as you catch up on admin and prepare for the week ahead, you can do so easily and virtually using the Global Expansion Platform. If you want to reach your Vistra relationship manager by phone to go deep in your quarterly planning, you can do that, just as always.

Moving up the complexity curve

Clients benefit from the convenience, choice and transparency that come with our new platform. As our services move up the complexity curve, tackling intersecting laws, regulations and compliance problems that grow ever-more intricate, our solution provides simplicity—and it is in that widening gap between complex problems and simple solutions that we create real value for our clients. GEP also enables people to choose the same provider for services and software, simplifying their operations even further.

As Geni’s training progresses and we further develop the platform to include all core Vistra Global Solutions by the end of 2026, our clients will have access to legal entity, payroll and tax and statutory accounting services all from a single, digital entry point. Doing so will better help our clients achieve their own business goals, through advanced technology, backed by Vistra’s unmatched expertise.
