General Legal Counsel
Virginie joined Vistra Luxembourg in 2020 as General Counsel and forms part of the management team. In this role, Virginie is responsible for Vistra Luxembourg’s legal, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment, GDPR, security and risk management, litigation and corporate social responsibility activities.
Prior to joining Vistra, Virginie spent more than a decade in private practice, first as a M&A attorney and for the greatest part of her career at leading Luxembourg-based litigations firms.
During her tenure, she managed and successfully led an array of complex and sophisticated international litigation and arbitration matters involving shareholder disputes, Private Equity, Tax, Finance, Funds, Commercial Law, Corporate Governance and Insolvency/Bankruptcy related matters.
Virginie holds a master’s degree in International Business Law and a master’s degree in Private law. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish and has a solid command of German
