What makes working at Vistra unique?
The people at Vistra is what makes Vistra unique. You can always provide similar services as other companies, therefore the differentiating factor needs to be the people who deliver those services. Vistra empowers its people to build strong relationships with their clients and encourages colleagues to support one another.
How have you grown and developed at Vistra?
I joined Vistra in Luxembourg just over 18 months ago because there was a real opportunity to make a difference and create a positive change. I enjoy working in a role that focuses on obtaining the best from people and working at Vistra has given me the chance to have a seat at the operational table.
In my role, I have had the opportunity to not only support the local office in Luxembourg but to be involved in regional and global initiatives as well. The biggest challenge we all faced last year was how to manage through Covid-19. This was certainly a test of my resilience and I think Vistra’s approach to teamwork and good communication helped us through this unchartered territory.
At Vistra, you are part of a local team but also closely connected to the wider global Vistra community, which provides a great network of support and guidance. There is also no hierarchy at Vistra, which has been refreshing and empowering.
What Vistra value resonates with you the most?
‘Empowering people’ as this enables our colleagues to have the confidence and knowledge to make decisions. Through coaching and career development, and by helping colleagues set personal targets, Vistra supports its people so that they can grow and develop while contributing to the company’s success.
