Executive Director, Private Wealth
Rita joined Vistra Singapore as an Executive Director in the Trust Management team in June 2019.
She commenced her career in the legal industry and is an accomplished, assertive and dedicated professional with over two decades of experience in the Banking and Fiduciary sector.
Prior to joining Vistra, Rita spent over a decade working for a well-reputed Bank-linked trust company.
As a Trust Relationship Manager, she oversaw teams of trust relationship managers and officers. Rita was involved in the administration of complex fiduciary and philanthropic structures across various jurisdictions. This involved close communication with trust-related parties and family offices.
She was also involved in Investment Reviews with bankers and fund managers from various organisations. Rita is no stranger to liaising and working with intermediaries that include lawyers, accountants, tax agents, real estate agents and property managers amongst others that are multi-jurisdictional.
In the course of her career, she has been privy to many situations and circumstances that have made her a firm believer in the value of fiduciary solutions. She has seen firsthand how families and individuals alike have benefitted from succession planning solutions, asset protection and consolidation structures, family business governance solutions and philanthropic structures, amongst others. Her passion and dedication in this industry is evident in her work and accomplishments to date.
Rita read Law and graduated with an LLB (Hons). In the course of her career in the fiduciary sector, she has also honed her skills and knowledge and attained fiduciary-related qualifications from STEP in Working with Family Offices, Trust Disputes and Family Business Advising. She also obtained Advanced Certificates in Trust Administration and Trust & Estate Planning from the Wealth Management Institute, Singapore.
Rita is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner [TEP] with STEP and an accredited Financial Industry Certified Professional [FICP] in Singapore.
Rita speaks and writes fluent English and Malay.
