Philippe Lanciers has joined Vistra in Luxembourg and will be focused on continuing the rapid growth in the private assets segments by leveraging his extensive knowledge of the industry.
With more than 20 years of relevant experience, Philippe is a senior investment management specialist with global expertise in the alternative and mainstream fund industry.
Philippe started his career with a big four firm as an external auditor and then worked as a management consultant specialised in business process engineering, target operating models, solutions implementation and client migrations. He also held senior management roles with top tier US, Canadian and local service providers where he was in charge of product management and business implementation as well as analytics providing Risk Management services.
From 2012, Philippe was a conducting officer of the company he worked for and was in charge of AIF services, providing fund set-up, central administration and registrar services to AIFMs, further acting also Asset Management industry leader for the firm in Luxembourg, heading up Markets and Sales. In his latest role, he was in charge of Business Development, covering the sales strategy, products & services definition and the development of the firm’s Client Portfolio.
Philippe has acted as independent director on the board of multiple AIFs also taking on the risk management function for different asset classes.
Philippe has broad experience in the financial sector in Luxembourg and excellent operational, risk management and product structuring experience. He also has a strong background in strategy, product management and business development.
Philippe holds a Master of Science in Business Engineering from the SOLVAY Brussels School of Economics and Management.
He speaks Dutch, English, and French.
