Muhammad Asif Iqbal
Muhammad joined Vistra Middle East as an External Finance Manager in June 2018. Authorising individuals on various Regulated clients in DFSA/FSRA. He leads a team of external finance consultants working on DIFC and ADGM Clients as well as the other free zone entities in UAE.
Also specialises in VAT registration, VAT filings, and refund claims in the FTA regime in UAE. Expertise in MIS Reporting, Scenario Testing Analysis, in-depth financial projections, capital adequacy, and liquidity analysis.
Before joining Vistra/TSME, Asif gained diversified experience of working in an FMCG, mainly to the Financial sector, Brokerage House to an Investment Bank in Pakistan then relocated to Dubai and gained exposure to some profound NBFI’s to the regulated entities as an authorised individual to DFSA and FSRA.
Muhammad joined Vistra with over 20 years of diversified experience in finance and Accounts, specialising in the financial sector, and is a key member of the leadership team in Vistra Middle East. He leads a team of Finance Consultants (authorised Finance Officers and Accountants), leading the Clients Authorisation Projects in DFSA/ADGM up to finalisation of Financial Projections.
Asif is an ACMA from Pakistan. He has an MBA in Finance and is currently pursuing CFA charter as a finalist. His native language is Urdu but he is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Arabic.
