Farabi joined Vistra in January 2020 as a Commercial Director for Vistra Luxembourg. In this role, he is part of the team that leads Luxembourg’s commercial activities across Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Private Wealth.
Farabi has more than 16 years of professional experience and has strong expertise in client strategy and business development. He has also worked in Malaysia and the UK. He has spent most of professional career within the Big 4 firms and most previously was an Audit Director with PwC Luxembourg. At PwC, he served clients in the alternative space mainly in private equity and real estate, where he developed a strong client base from the UK, US and South East Asia. He has a strong understanding and knowledge of the Luxembourg financial industry, especially in the specialised products and tax related structures.
Farabi has a degree in Foundation in Science from the University of Malaysia and is professionally qualified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. His native language is Bahasa Malaysia and he is fluent in English. He also has a basic working knowledge of French.
