David joined Vistra in December 2012, relocating to Hong Kong after a distinguished 14-year career across Europe with the French conglomerate Alcatel-Lucent (Nokia) serving as European Financial Controller.

Today at Vistra, David works closely with the Group CFO on various finance projects, helping to execute and realize the Group’s long term financial strategy. Of note, he was part of the deal team facilitating the successful sale of Vistra to Barings Private Equity (Asia) in 2015, followed by the global integration of Orangefield in 2016 and the acquisition of Radius in 2018.

With a keen personal interest in corporate structuring and tax, he is also involved day-to-day in the acquisition vehicle set-up and tax due diligence for the ongoing M&A transactions within the Group.

David holds an honours degree in accountancy in the UK and is a UK registered Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). English is his native language and he also speaks fluent Cantonese.
