Alastair is Chief Information Officer and Head of Marketing for Vistra Group.
In 2006, Alastair was part of the team who formed the Vistra brand and has been instrumental in building the Group into where it is today. Alastair has led the integration of various mergers and acquisitions worldwide as well as helping setup many of the green field sites during the growth of Vistra. Following the merger of OIL and Vistra in 2011, Alastair led the integration project to bring together the newly enlarged Group.
His IT management and operational skills are vital to the efficient running of the Group's global framework and its strict data protection protocols. Combined with marketing, Alastair is able to further promote a strong brand positioning and ensure acquisitions are brought fully into the Vistra family, both operationally and commercially.
Previously, Alastair was Group IT Director at Fortis Intertrust, where he managed the successful integration for several significant international mergers.
As the group continues to expand, Alastair's systems integration and branding experience remains essential in ensuring that new companies are integrated smoothly, maximising the operational efficiencies and benefits that can be gained through economies of scale and standardisation.
A chartered IT professional (CITP), he gained a BSc honours degree in computer science and psychology from the University of Liverpool and is a fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.
