Chief People Officer

Marie joined Vistra as Chief People Officer in May 2016. In her role she is responsible for the overall strategic guidance of the company’s people strategy and operating platform. Reporting to the CEO, her responsibilities include the leadership of the global HR Business Partners and the group “Centres of Expertise” including Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development and Recruiting and Mobility.

She began her career in San Francisco as a consultant and later the managing consultant of the global career consulting and change management consultancy, DBM.  In the early 2000’s, Marie relocated to the UK where she was the Managing Director of a London based practice later moving into a senior European operations role spanning 27 countries. After DBM was purchased by the London based private equity firm, Compass, Marie changed her career to Human Resources moving to the role of Global Director of Learning and Development for the US based consultancy, Booz Allen Hamilton. After 4 years, Marie moved to Arthur D. Little as the global head of Human Resources. Most recently, Marie founded the German chapter of Oxford Leadership focusing on senior leadership advisory for DAX 30 companies based in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Marie has a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco in California.
