Payroll Administrator

Key responsibilities

The business is now recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering a portfolio of client payrolls and therefore experience in the following would be desirable: 

  • Processing the monthly payroll function, from “start to end” including monthly reporting and RTI Compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HMRC regulations
  • Processing bank payments
     

Qualifications and other requirements

  • A basic understanding of fundamental payroll principles.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll packages.
  • Team spirit and commitment to team objectives.
  • Integrity, open and honest actions.
  • Self confident and driven with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure meeting agreed timescales.
  • Attention to detail is an essential requirement.
  • Strong time management.

​​​​​Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • Experience of running start to end high volume payrolls in fast paced environments is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of KCS Snowdrop payroll software would be desirable but not essential.
  • Due to the location of the offices driving license and car/motorcycle owner is essential.
