The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a young dynamic team in a global business that has rapidly grown in the last two years. Specifically, this role is designed for a highly organised individual that thrives on delivering customer satisfaction, spinning of plates at the same time and working on tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and maintaining key account relationships with professional intermediary clients and acting as an internal liaison point for coordination of formation and administrative services across various group offices.


Key Responsibilities

· Act as the point of contact for a portfolio of clients on all accounting matters and work in close cooperation with client managers & partners.

· Preparation of management accounts/ reports for clients observing tight month end deadlines.

· Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with standard operating procedures and in compliance with relevant accounting standards company law.

· Act as bridge between auditors and the client. Requirement to maintain a strong working relationship with all audit firms and challenge them where required to ensure audits are planned and completed within specified deadlines.

· Provide oversight and review of the accounts produced by team members ensuring high quality of accounts produced which are in full compliance with all IFRS / Irish GAAP standards as applicable.

· Drafting Corporation Tax computations for accounts provisioning purposes and for tax department review and finalisation.

· Supervise client Vat / Vies compliance ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.

· Ensure all Companies Office deadlines are met.

· Daily interaction dealing with day to day requests / queries from clients.

· Attend client meetings and calls providing accounting advice where necessary.

· Support with practice development initiatives for the firm;

· Working with the Management team to ensure the agreed objectives of the business unit are achieved in a timely manner;·         Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.


Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate will be an ambitious and confident self-starter seeking a fresh challenge with a progressive firm. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

·         Recently Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA Accountant

·         Excellent client relationship management skills

·         Commercially focused with good practice development skills

·         Excellent technical and interpersonal skills

·         Proficient in numerous accounting software packages

·         Strong communication and leaderships skills

·         Team player

·         Prior practice experience is preferred

 

As this is a client facing role there will be a requirement for some travel to client premises therefore a full, clean Irish/International driver's license is desirable.
