This role is responsible to support, drive and implement new products/solutions which developed by our internal Working Group based on changes in regulations in our industry in the region of Asia & Middle East.  Acting as the first point of contact to actively communicate between our account management team in Hong Kong and the Working Group to ensure the local team understands our new products in order to capture suitable opportunities based on our clients’ needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely and provide all around support to the Working Group in Greater China (mostly) and (less so) in Singapore, the Middle East and the UK, drive and implement new products with effective and innovative internal marketing strategies
  • Supporting the Working Group on project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, budget and timeline
  • Manage the project schedule and keep a tight control on timelines, project dependencies and risks
  • Prepare/manage updates; escalating issues to the Working Group
  • Facilitation of change management by develop and orchestrate the overall change methodology, coordinating implementation and provide regular training on our newly developed products/solutions
  • Act as a mediator between the Working Group and the HK account management team to resolve any issues throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provide updates on a regular basis and answer any queries  for the HK team to ensure they understand our new products in order to capture suitable opportunities based on our clients’ needs
  • Understand and analyse industry trends, regulatory developments and competitive landscape, drive execution of new product capabilities   

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in financial services or professional services firms
  • Project management experience on small to medium scale projects with a proven ability to lead consulting engagements
  • Demonstrated experience working within a dynamic environment of change
  • Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines, advanced degree preferred
  • Qualified in recognised project management discipline (Agile/Scrum)
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Lean Management Frameworks and project life-cycle planning
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
  • Methodical with strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and summarize complex information for onward communication
  • Agility in identifying issues in all areas within the program and developing creative, feasible solutions
  • Consultancy skills in order to be a trusted adviser to the business on regulatory related issues in the region
  • Self-motivated, independent and business oriented
  • Collaborative, strong team-player with demonstrable experience in working within a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation, division and locations
  • Able to work in a multi-faceted environment and sensitive to divisional business issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail & project management experience
  • Technical coaching skills and team support methods in a diverse cultural environment
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Visio
  • Experience in using SAP is advantageous
  • Professional fluency in written and oral English and Chinese
  • Additional fluency in any other languages is a bonus
