Jordans is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Adviser from a professional services background to join the "company formations" team on a permanent basis - 35 hours a week (full-time). 

You'll be joining a team of 5 - with one of the team members working in Jordans Edinburgh Office. The formations department is very busy; forming more UK Companies than anyone else. 

The department formed the first electronic company almost 20 years ago!

Jordans "MyFormations Portal" is a fast-online system that is used to incorporate many types of entities including Private Limited, Property Management, Non-Charitable Guarantee, RTM, Public Limited Company etOur clients range from Solicitors, Accountant, magic circle firms and private individuals, they can instruct us by phone, email, fax or completing one of our order forms.

We need someone who is passionate about customer care; naturally client and service focused, who enjoys working as part of a very busy team where no two days are the same!

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • To be an active member of the Company Formations team, to ensure that customers receive the appropriate advice regarding formation of their respective company within agreed timeframes as appropriate.
  • To act as client contact point taking instructions for incorporations, change of name, upselling and other associated products and services provided by Corporate Services
  • To answer incoming calls and enquiries promptly, courteously and informatively
  • To focus on all telephone calls in order to capture additional work from existing key clients and raise awareness of services to potential new clients, in relation to up-sell with particular emphasis on increasing annual service subscriptions.
  • To ensure that all instructions are interpreted precisely and responded to accurately via telephone, fax, email, website, online, post and in person as necessary
  • To prioritise daily workload to ensure clients deadlines are met
  • To provide maintenance and administrative role to one of our major portfolio clients, using our PC sec Software.
  • To provide technical back up support and helpline support services for MyFormation clients. (MyFormations is our own company formation software provided to a large number of our clients enabling them to form UK Companies themselves).
  • To liaise with Companies House as necessary
  • To respond to enquiries for potential new business and follow up accordingly, using the Jordans enquiry management tool
  • To assist with user acceptance testing of system developments so far as it relates to Company Formations, including testing and data clean-up, as required
  • To play an active role in developing customer relationships, including the Key Account Management programme, to participate in other marketing initiatives and to promote the services offered across other departments and by Jordans and Vistra generally
  • To develop and maintain strong customer relationships with internal and external customers to ensure maximum user retention, increasing revenue and profitability from existing customers
  • To conduct system testing as required, follow test scripts and report accurately

Qualifications and other requirements

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal qualification desired (not essential)
  • Degree qualified (preferably law or business)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of call handling
