Key Responsibilities

  • This role is to ensure the effective execution of the designed SSC Target Operating Model.
  • Plan, design, implement and monitor the overall functions of the SSC centre to ensure agreed SLAs are delivered to internal clients in accurate and timely manner.
  • Involves the implementation of the strategic change of the organization.
  • Proactively engage with Business Heads and other key stakeholders to understand requirements and issues across the businesses, identifying opportunities to drive consistency in SSC.
  • Accountability for ensuring Functional compliance with all regulatory requirements/ Group policies.

 Stakeholders Management and Service Qualities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Business partners/Functional heads to support the agreed Business Service and strategy.
  • Maximize the quality of service provided to customers and minimize the number of internal and external customer complaints.
  • Develop and drive continuous process improvements, enhance efficiency and service quality; executing the strategic initiatives directed by the Group

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Manage/oversee the activities of service functions in SSC, including but not limited to Compliance, Fiduciary, Accounting &Trust services
  • Ensure effective management of staff recruitment, development and performance by driving on-going career development and training plans to maintain and enhance service excellence
  • Plan resources within SSC Team so that manpower and expertise can be leveraged and optimally utilized, while driving continuous quality improvement, service excellence culture and business partnership across SSC.
  • Define objectives, scorecards with direct reports

Operational Effectiveness & Control

  • Responsible for implementing adequate operational control and risk management under the Vistra risk control framework and owning the related process control risks.
  • Actively oversees implementation of Group Compliance policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, as applicable.
  • Initiates and implements innovative solutions to complex Business Service issues, including generating new methods of processing, where relevant.
  • Ensure that effective business recovery plans exist and ensure regular testing for appropriateness and adequacy.

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Senior manager level above candidate working in medium size shared service centre organizations, experiences in setting up SSC is highly preferred.
  • Candidate who is driven and can manage a team at least 30+ people minimum of 10 years of working experience preferred
  • Service industry background is advantage
  • Demonstrable record of managing large scale operational activity and P&L across multiple countries.
  • Demonstrable strong collaborative behaviour and strong ability to operate effectively in a matrix management structure.
  • Bachelor degree above
  • Strong leadership, team player with analytical business acumen and can communicate at the senior executive level.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability.
  • Results-oriented and detail-minded person with ability to see the big picture.
  • Proven abilities in working across cultures and in a complex global environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially in Word and Excel
  • Professional Fluency in written and oral English with a good command of Chinese and Mandarin proficiency
