Vistra supports Canada China Business Council workshops.

Last week, Vistra co-sponsored a series of conferences and workshops designed to help Canadian businesses expand into China. Organised by the Canada China Business Council and supported by the Canadian Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and HSBC, the events were aimed at providing practical support to address many of the issues that arise when companies seek to develop their business in China.  Speakers examined key business topics, such as quality management, IP protection, and banking in the local currency, the Renminbi.

The Doing Business in China workshops were aimed primarily at firms that are already engaged in China and looking to deepen and grow their activities there. Companies attending included those involved in sourcing, exporting, manufacturing and services. The events were also to be of interest to businesses researching the Chinese market.

Vistra opened each event with a 25 minute session on business structures and set-ups in China and Hong Kong, their regulations and benefits, after which there was and opportunity to ask questions and meet the Vistra experts for one to one discussions.
