Understanding China’s VAT System

Vistra China will be hosting a seminar on “Understanding China’s VAT System” in conjunction with the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) in AustCham Shanghai’s office on 13 September 2017.

The Value-Added Tax (VAT) reform was fully implemented as China’s only indirect tax in May last year. Over the past year, the China tax bureau has implemented a series of regulatory changes aimed at streamlining and simplifying the VAT system, including new software and reporting programs, while still, maintaining some of its unique characteristics.

Vivie Wei, Business Development Manager of Vistra Shanghai will elaborate on the major updates to VAT reform in 2017 from both a practical and administrative perspective.

Light breakfast will be served.

Vistra clients can register at the member’s rate of 150RMB.
