As announced by the Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, the amendments to the Singapore Employment Act took effect on 1 April 2019. The changes include the watershed extension of the core provisions to all employees; additional protections extended to more vulnerable employees; as well as enhancing the employment dispute resolution framework.
