Jonathon Clifton talks to Bloomberg about BVI registrations

The recent article "Caribbean Haven Plans New Bank to Keep China Billions Flow” published by Bloomberg featured Jonathon Clifton, Group Managing Director of the Company Formation division at Vistra. 

Jonathon provided insight on future BVI registrations, and spoke about the how the BVI have dropped from first to third in the ranking of preferred incorporation jurisdictions (source: Vistra 2020 report), behind UK and Hong Kong, partly due to the recent negative publicity for offshore havens. He discussed how he believes the new Bank of Asia will help return BVI registrations to the same levels they were five years ago.
