BRICS Seminar on Best Practices in PPPs and Long Term Infrastructure Financing

Navita Yadav, Managing Director and CEO of Vistra ITCL, was a panellist at the BRICS India 2016 Seminar on Best Practices in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Long Term Infrastructure Financing, hosted in New Delhi on 22 September 2016.

The event brought together experts from BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) with the aim of sharing experience and knowledge on public private partnerships and long term infrastructure financing. The Finance Minister and Finance Secretary of India delivered the keynote and welcome address, kick starting the panel sessions.

The panel sessions focused on three topics: innovative investment vehicles for long term infrastructure investment; regulatory issues and financing of infrastructure; and PPP Project Delivery and Post Award Contract management. Navita spoke extensively about innovative debt structures for long term infrastructure financing in BRICS markets.
