As Project Management Officer you will work for Vistra on a global level. You will work in the Business Systems department and report to the Business Projects Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Management office in delivering the various business initiatives.
  • Provide effective management support to Senior Project Managers on streams of large projects.
  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders and 3rd Party providers regarding various aspects of the project.
  • Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams and build strong working relationship.
  • Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records.
  • Process highlight report information from Project Managers / Owners and prepare Status report for the Project Board and key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans including tasks and timelines for each part of the process.
  • Track and record project costs and ensure budgets are well managed.
  • Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Required occasional travelling to the other offices.
  • Any ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Aptitude to work with the business and strive for continuous improvements.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and willing to go the extra miles.
  • Prior experience in financial services sector would be ideal.
  • Previous working experience within a dynamic environment of change is must.
  • Minimum 2 years of Experience in project management.
  • Degree holder preferably in Information Systems, Engineering or similar disciplines.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PRINCE2 / AGILE Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalent preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools mainly Microsoft Projects, Visio.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English.
  • Additional fluency in any other languages is a plus.
