Division   International Expansion

This role has overall responsibility for building the global advisory service offering into a USD 50 Million business by the year 2025. Target clients would include large middle market and global MNCs with multiple international locations particularly those that are headquartered in the US and UK. This is a global role reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, International Expansion and drives the development and consulting services relating to cross border issues and needs including but not limited to global talent mobility, tax, risk management, HR matters and emerging markets investment advisory.

The incumbent of this role can be situated either in London or USA.

Key Responsibilities


  • With the Commercial leadership defines the Go-To-Market strategy including customer segmentation, pricing strategies and implementation framework


  • As part of the business planning and budget cycle works closely with the different Regional/Country MD’s and Commercial leadership to design and then implement specific business plans in line with the IES divisional strategy
  • Conducts regular business reviews together with the Regional MD / FD and Divisional/Commercial leadership to actively monitor performance and takes action to ensure the day-to-day performance of the business delivers to the divisional targets and longer term plan

Service Portfolio

  • Drives the development and management of the advisory and consulting services portfolio for the IES division

Service Delivery                      

  • Works closely with the IES divisional operations director to ensure the quality of client services through Middle and Front Office capabilities

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to build an advisory/consulting practice within large cross border professional service firm environment
  • Successfully led and managed business unit P&L for growth and profitability
  • Likely to have an HR or Tax orientation and able to take a Global Relationship Partner (GRP) role on large strategic accounts
  • Experience in change management; from idea inception to fully implementing changes proposed would be a distinct advantage
  • Solid degree in an accounting, legal or business field (academic level) or MBA
  • Understands the needs and pain points for businesses expanding internationally
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively oversee multi-discipline teams with the ability to attract talent
  • Strong executive presence, able to be the face of the Vistra IES brand in the market
  • Strong team-player with experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box, to challenge status quo, but to do so diplomatically and collaborative manner in
  • Culturally sensitive and experienced dealing with multiple nationalities, business cultures
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities and work within ill-defined boundaries
