The Marketing Business Partner of the Corporate & Private Clients (CPC) division is responsible to develop and implement the global marketing strategy to support the business growth and development of the CPC division.

The individual will develop solid partnerships with the Divisional Managing Director - CPC, Commercial, Sales and Product Development teams and work closely with the specialist Group Marketing teams to be the link between the business and Group Marketing.

The incumbent of this role can reside anywhere in United Kingdom.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global marketing strategy in close cooperation with key stakeholders that support the business growth and development of the CPC division
  • Act as a ‘bridge’ between the business and marketing to align the overall marketing strategy of the Group
  • Build a robust partnership with the Sales, Commercial and Product Development  teams and actively take part in supporting all business development initiatives, including upsell & cross sell opportunities
  • Develop and drive the implementation of the overall internal and external CPC communications strategy and work closely with Group Communications team to deliver compelling core marketing messages and value propositions
  • Work closely with senior management to develop appropriate messages on key regulatory developments in various jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Operations team in the development and production of marketing collateral and sales promotion assets
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to increase global CPC brand profile via key digital channels, online campaign/social media marketing/SEO to increase traffic and inbound marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to translate data into strategic and insightful recommendations
  • Identify and plan appropriate corporate entertainment, conference and sponsorship initiatives to increase CPC brand profile within inbound and  outbound markets
  • Manage and develop the CPC Marketing team by encouraging teamwork and mentoring to staff
  • Manage the global divisional marketing budget and ensure effective cost control and spend
  • Undertake additional marketing related tasks and ad hoc projects as identified by the Chief Marketing Officer and the Divisional Managing Director

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the marketing field, ideally gained through the financial services or professional services industries
  • Previous experience in managing small onshore and offshore teams
  • University degree holder in Marketing or related disciplines
  • Strong team-player with demonstrable experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation, division and Marketing teams
  • Strong management skills and demonstrable success in driving productivity and engagement in staff
  • Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box, to challenge status quo, but to do so diplomatically and collaborative manner
  • Ability to establish clear priorities and drive hands-on execution and delivery
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities and work within ill-defined boundaries
  • Professional fluency in English and highly articulate with excellent verbal and written language skills
