Through inspirational leadership and tight control of Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”), the Global Services Lead will drive the development, commercial success and operational excellence of the Corporate Services portfolio, while also providing thought leadership as the principal Corporate Services Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Vistra Group. The role is the Chair of the Corporate Clients Board, a member of the CPC Executive Team and achieves results by working in close partnership and collaborating with other parts of the Vistra team specifically in the Sales & Marketing, Regional and Operational Service Delivery teams.

The incumbent of this role can reside anywhere within the European region.


Key Responsibilities

Inspirational Leadership

  • Woking in concert with peers and ExCo to deliver ‘One Vistra’
  • Create the environment for Vistra Corporate Services to be the principal destination of choice for clients and staff
  • Lead the Corporate Services line in accordance with the Vistra corporate Purpose
  • Change behaviours such that a common set of KPIs are bought into, applied and adopted to ensure upper quartile performance against industry peers

Services Development – working with the Sales & Marketing team:

  • Clearly defines the Corporate product and services portfolio and drives the product development roadmap of future service offerings
  • Develops and manages the product pricing framework for the Corporate Services offering to ensure competitive market position while maximising the revenue and margin potential for the Division and Group
  • Tracks performance against an agreed set of KPIs

Commercial - working with the Sales & Marketing and Regional teams:

  • Holds Global P&L responsibility for Corporate Services and works with Division, Sales & Marketing and Regional Teams to ensure the delivery against the annual target and longer term business plan
  • Develops the short and medium term Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and specific business plans for Corporate Services globally and for key markets in each region
  • Translates the GTM and business plans into specific annual budgets (with revenue and margin targets) for Corporate Services. These budgets are developed in partnership with the Divisional, Sales & Marketing and Regional Teams
  • Develops and manages the Corporate Services pricing framework
  • Together with the CPC Division management regularly reviews the commercial performance of the Corporate services and product portfolio through an agreed set of KPIs

Client

  • Whist operating to the highest regulatory and commercial standards, creates an environment in which Vistra Corporate Services is consistently delighting clients at all stages of the client lifecycle
  • Identifies and executes specific Corporate client opportunities whilst also continually building the opportunity pipeline
  • Acts as the Corporate Services representative/SME for customers that are covered under the Global Key Accounts program
  • Is the lead customer interface for Divisional Key Accounts that are primarily Corporate in service need and requirements

Service Delivery - with the CPC Division Operations Director and team:

  • Ensures the delivery of Corporate Services to meet and exceed client expectations in a cost effective manner by defining appropriate service delivery KPIs, agreeing service level agreement standards and conducting regular service delivery reviews
  • Supports the development of the service delivery model for Corporate Services by providing Corporate specific service requirements, expertise and client insight
  • Act as a senior executive for escalation of Corporate service issues working with the CPC Operations Director to drive effective resolution
  • Is part of the Product Leadership Team (PLT) and works with the Division management (specifically the Product Development Director and Operations Director) and IT leadership on the technological enablement of the Corporate Services product portfolio and services delivery

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Proven track record managing commercial relationships in the industry including reviewing and negotiating contracts whilst ensuring appropriate governance structures are in place to safeguard relationships
  • Proven experience of business planning, budgeting, and managing P&L for a business of this type
  • Experience in developing, implementing, optimizing business processes in the Corporate investments funds space
  • BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 10+ years of experience in senior roles in the Corporate Services industry. (CPA, MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • A leader able to inspire action
  • Strong team-player with demonstrable experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation, division and asset class
  • Strong knowledge of Corporate Services business and operations, familiarity with investment accounting rules and standards, and a keen understanding of applicable tax reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Strong management skills and demonstrable success overseeing multijurisdictional Corporate Services operations during a period of significant change, utilising an agreed set of KPIs to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
