Assistant, Compliance (18 months contract)


Key Responsibilities

  • To facilitate KYC review/due diligence process in order to clear backlog files to ensure it meets with regulatory requirements in timely manner
  • Update and maintain all relevant client information/files into the system
  • Work closely with various parties to ensure effective project execution
  • Take minutes and follow up on project related meetings
  • Provide all round administration support to the project team
  • Assist in preparation of compliance reports as required by the Group and regulators
  • Handle any ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications and other requirements

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • 1 year of solid compliance experience in financial services or corporate services firms
  • Degree holder in Law, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Ability to build strategic working relationship with all business and support units as well as regulatory authorities
  • Understand FATCA and CRS including how to complete the relevant forms, basic knowledge on classification, etc.
  • Understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business in order to strike a balance
  • A team player with good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to fine details
  • Keen to work in a challenging, fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Good command of Office software and other related computer skills
  • Knowledge in SAP and Viewpoint will be an advantage
  • Professional fluency in written and oral English with a good command of Chinese
