Trainee Corporate Administrator

This role is located in Jersey, Channel Islands.

The purpose of this position is to assist with the routine day-to-day administration of corporate structures under the direction of a Senior Corporate Administrator / Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing documents on the company systems and maintaining accurate corporate files and records
  • Assist with the incorporation of companies and filing annual and other company returns
  • Assist with obtaining CDD on beneficial owners and controllers and maintain the registers on Viewpoint/ Penny/EZE
  • Assist with all aspects of company secretarial matters including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of board packs, obtaining directors availability and drafting minutes and resolutions for routine matters and pre rotation of annual general meetings
  • Undertake routine and office clerical tasks where necessary
  • Prepare manual and electronic payment instructions to see the corporate expenses
  • Maintain accurate daily time-recording
  • Attain chargeability target and recoverability rate
  • Preparing bank payments, raising cheques and monitoring actions by bank
  • Assist with quarterly client billing and collect client fees on a timely basis as requested
  • Credit control - send out fee reminder letters, monitor bank balances to settle fees, check office cash receipts for settlement of invoices and chase payments if needed
  • Ensure all fees for the client portfolio are charged and collected on a timely basis

  • Basic corporate knowledge would be an advantage(relevant in-house training to be provided)

  • Computer literacy skills are essential
