Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Respond to client requests timely and effectively
  • Prepare periodic management accounts for client review and audit
  • Process accounting ledger transactions
  • Perform reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor and creditor accounts
  • Prepare all necessary reports and analysis within agreed deadlines
  • Prepare and process VIES and VAT returns as required, and ensure payments are paid on time
  • Prepare monthly payroll, and ensure payments are made on time
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates for provisional tax returns, and review all clients on a periodic basis for changes in their tax position
  • Liaise with auditors and client during the audit process, and ensure all information is provided on a timely and accurate basis
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • To share knowledge and ideas within the team, helping to build stronger processes and contributing to the development of the Accounting Department and the company
  • Report to Team Leader regarding portfolio as required, and assist with tax updates
  • Fund administration knowledge and experience, to perform fund accounting and period NAV of the fund

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Team player and interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Part qualified or qualified ACCA / ACA or equivalent
  • Cyprus tax and VAT knowledge specific to our industry
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office application
  • Oral and written communication in English is required
