File Reviewer

This role is located in Jersey, Channel Islands.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out file reviews including post take on, annual reviews, underlying company reviews and property reviews for High/Standard and Low Risk clients (File Handlers to continue to follow process for PEP Clients).  Includes recommendation and implementation of actions following the reviews. 
  • To complete risk analysis using our standard system/template of questions.
  • In liaison with the Managers to ensure that all relevant reviews are completed in accordance with the time frames as set out in the Vistra (Jersey) Limited Policies and Procedures.
  • To Liaise with the Managers to review the targets set and ensure that these are met.
  • To maintain details of the progress of and status of reviews to the point of final sign off.
  • To meet with Managers on a weekly basis to update them in respect of the targets and completed reviews, agree actions to be taken and implement immediately.
  • To undertake and complete risk analysis in conjunction with reviews.
  • In liaison with the Directors to complete ad-hoc critical reviews when necessary.

  • Complete timesheets accurately and promptly.

  • Participate in team meetings.

  • Attend relevant training and development programs as required.
  • Maintain evidence of continuing professional development as required the regulator (and/or the hours required by membership of a professional organisation).

Qualifications and other requirements

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Good communication skills and rapport with colleagues.
  • Flexible attitude.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Good IT skills including Word / Excel / Outlook / Viewpoint databases.
  • TCB Category ‘C’/Table 5 Qualification.
  • Strong Company/Fund and Trust Administration skills essential (minimum 4 years relevant experience).
