Vistra is looking for an energetic and well organised HR professional. You will have the opportunity to support the Group HR Business Partner (GBP) and the local HR teams. With your knowledge and experience as an HR Professional, you will play a significant role in the design and implementation of various people, talent & culture initiatives led by Group HR. This position is located at Vistra Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of Group HR projects such as Succession Planning and Performance Management, within the region Europe/Americas by preparing an overall implementation planning, set up of the training calendar, preparing communication and assisting with more HR related projects.
  • Preparing high qualified presentations and slides  for the HR Business Partner Europe/Americas with respect for the subject and the target audience
  • Review terms & conditions of recruitment agencies and advice the hiring manager in the search and selection. Maintain a professional relationship with the global network of search agencies and raising awareness of the benefits when a master agreement is possible.        
  • Coordinate the transfer of staff between countries worldwide and involve the different stakeholders to achieve the transfer under the best conditions for the employer and employee.
  • Any other duties that broadly fall outside the scope of those outlined above but which are reasonably compatible with this job description and its objectives.
  • Set up of various reporting in close cooperation with the HR Data Analyst on compensation and benefits, job titles, performance management results, integration projects.
  • First point of contact on an HR support level for countries where local HR is not represented.
  • Super user and main administer of global HR community tools (Share Point). Provides updates and communication around the updates to the HR community. Also drives the awareness of benefits of the usage of the tool within the HR community.
  • Formulate and edit various job descriptions and different employment contracts in close contact with Global HR Business Partner Europe/Americas and local HR team.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have an appropriate qualification in HR and a strong HR background with at least 5 years’ experience, preferably within an international matrix organization.
  • The candidate will have the ability to work within a (virtual) team environment and show initiative, accuracy and efficiency in the role and responsibility.
  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to act with impartiality and discretion at all times.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive and innovative HR support professional to join an international company.
  • The candidate will have excellent communication skills (English and/or Dutch language skills).
  •  The candidate is strong in keeping the overview of all the various topics in the Group HR team and coordinates the initiatives from a support and reporting point of view. Also a persuasiveness, service minded, empathic and flexible skills are key requirements.
