In this critical Business Analyst role you will be part of our company-wide change initiative, Vistra Velocity. As a Business Analyst you are a ‘linking pin’ between the business and IT. Shortly; you translate the business needs to IT solutions. You make (project) plans for the ‘ quick wins’  as well as the longer term projects and act as a project manager in the execution and implementation. You are a strong stakeholder manager; able to communicate at all levels throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholder and build strong  working relationships;
  • Write user stories and transform them into clear system specification (e.g. Viewpoint);
  • Produce documentations for development team and clearly communicate the requirements to Vistra Group IT / 3rd party development teams (e.g. Viewpoint / Hexaware);
  • Produce diagrams and process mapping documentations;
  • Participate in the software development activities;
  • Assist in management of development backlog;
  • Perform regular requirement signoff  testing and document test scenarios and scripts for user acceptance testing;
  • Produce user training material and provide end-user training;
  • Rollout of systems across Vistra offices;                                            
  • Provide application support;
  • Manage feature requests;
  • Participate in sprint meetings and assist the initiative owners in presenting  their initiatives;
  • Being the bridge between country digital leads and Vistra Group IT / 3rd party development teams;
  • Identify areas of improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Travel to other group offices in order to deliver projects;
  • Taking ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications and other requirements

  • HBO/University degree;
  • For this role we are open to junior, medior and senior candidates. For medior candidates +2 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager with software products, preferably in digital enterprise software;
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology;
  • Understanding of Agile and Lean delivery principles to role model;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks with multiple projects;
  • Work independently and in a team;
  • Perform under pressure in a fast pace environment;
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent attention to detail;
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, take ownership;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Demonstrate ability to think both strategical and tactically.
