Frans M J van Rijn (LLM) - Member of the Vistra Board
After obtaining his Master’s in Fiscal Law at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, Frans has used his academic expertise to specialise in international tax structures.
Initially, he worked as an international tax consultant for a number of leading firms, gaining valuable experience which he could then draw upon when he started his own business in 1989. This business, a successful trust company in the South of the Netherlands had offices in a variety of jurisdictions including the Dutch Antilles, Luxemburg, Cyprus and the Seychelles.
Frans’ entrepreneurial and practical approach combined with his expertise in global tax structures creates a perfect synergy with Vistra’s emphasis on providing cross border solutions for our clients.
Frans van Rijn is married with four children and speaks fluent English and German.
