<p>In 2006, Katty co-founded Cynosure, a corporate
services and investment advisory company with offices in Shanghai
and Beijing, and provided assistance to multinational companies,
small-medium enterprises and entrepreneurs setting up operations in
China. She is particularly experienced in projects
relating to logistics/supply-chain, IT & the Internet,
financial services, hospitality, retail and
distribution, energy & resources, and tourism, and as
she has built a strong portfolio of clients in these industries
over the years.</p>
<p>Familiar with Chinese Company Laws & Regulations, Contract
Law and Labour Laws, Katty is also an expert in the incorporation
of Chinese structures, its complicated processes, and filing
requirements, and has successfully consulted for numerous foreign
investors who have come to establish their commercial operations in
China.</p>
<p>She joined Vistra after it acquired Cynosure in 2011 and
currently heads up the Business Advisory and Corporate Services
Unit, specializing in Chinese company
formations, licensing/permit applications, restructuring
and M&A projects.</p>
<p>Katty holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from the China
University of Political Science & Law and a Master's Degree in
Sociology from the University of York, U.K. She also served
in the Intermediate People's Courts prior venturing into the
private sector specializing in legal work for corporates and
thereafter developing her career as a corporate consultant.</p>
<p>Katty is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese.</p>
