Marco has extensive experience in corporate taxation matters and cross-border transactions, having worked for many of the "Big 4" accounting firms for the larger part of two decades.  During this time, he has been involved in various tax advisory and related assignments for a wide range of international clients, most recently at Deloitte where he was Senior Manager providing Private Company Services. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), specialising in corporate taxation and also holds a Certificate in Trust Law and Administration. He is fluent in Maltese, English and Italian. Marco was appointed Managing Director of Vistra Malta in October 2011.

Rubrecht, who has a degree in fiscal economics from the University of Amsterdam, started his professional career in the Netherlands in 1996 at Arthur Andersen. As an international corporate tax advisor, he gained substantial experience in the implementation of tax-efficient international corporate structures. Since 2003 Rubrecht has occupied several senior positions at corporate service providers and has been a member of several tax committees and associations. In 2010 Rubrecht joined Vistra, and was appointed managing director of Vistra Malta. His focus is ensuring that legal structures are implemented and maintained in accordance with the objectives of the legal/tax advice and the commercial objectives of the client.

Dr. Alistair Schembri graduated as a Doctor of Law from the University of Malta in 2009 and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2010. Before joining Vistra in 2010, Alistair was employed with one of Malta's largest financial services firms for eighteen months. There, he gained considerable experience in contract drafting and vetting, corporate law and trust law. Alistair's role within Vistra (Malta) is to assist clients with the implementation of corporate and trust structures, as well as conducting internal compliance and anti money-laundering procedures.
