Ivo, a Dutch national, obtained his law degree at the University of
Utrecht, where he specialised in corporate law. In 1990 he joined
MeesPierson Trust & International Private Banking in Amsterdam
and rose to become managing director of MeesPierson Trust
Switzerland within four years. Ivo moved to Curaçao three years
later as part of a promotion to commercial director and then
managing director. <br />
<br />
In 2000 he returned to the Netherlands to take responsibility for
the Austrian, Belgian, Danish, Dutch and Spanish operations. At
that point, MeesPierson Intertrust was the Netherlands' largest
trust company. In September 2003 he became the managing director of
MeesPierson Private Banking, the country's the second largest
private bank. <br />
<br />
In 2006, Ivo joined an international trust group as commercial
director for their East Asian offices, launching their fund
services business in the region. <br />
<br />
With experience in corporate trust, private banking and fund
services, and leading multi-disciplinary teams, Ivo's structuring
knowledge enables him to strengthen Vistra's service offering and
to drive the continued growth of our Luxembourg office.
