Having worked in Asia for more than 20 years, Daniel has
considerable experience in advising clients on international
structuring, tax, cross-border relationships, and practical
approaches to doing business in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and
China. <br />
<br />
Prior to joining Vistra in 2010, Daniel served as vice president
and chief representative (Beijing) for ICS Trust (Asia) Limited, a
Hong Kong-based trust and corporate services company, and as senior
sales manager for Microsoft Corporation of Korea. <br />
<br />
At Vistra, he is responsible for developing and strengthening new
client and partner relationships, and for Vistra's China program,
specialising in advisory and structuring solutions for inbound
investment. <br />
<br />
Daniel is an international public speaker on doing business in
China and has advised organisations including banks, law firms,
accounting firms, and government agencies. He is also a
director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and a
member of the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association, the
Canada-China Business Council, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, the
Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Belgium-Luxembourg
Chamber of Commerce, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce. <br />
<br />
Daniel, who has a masters of business management from Monash
University in Australia, is fluent in Mandarin and speaks
Cantonese.
